These Terms of Service govern access to the eCity digital platform (Voznesensk, Ukraine) via the website and mobile app. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. Service description

eCity is an information and service platform for residents, businesses, and the city administration: news, chat, marketplace, events, jobs, business directory, shelter maps, feedback, and other municipal services. Some modules may be under development or depend on external data sources.

2. Registration and account

  • some features require registration (email and password or OAuth);
  • you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account;
  • provide accurate information; do not create accounts on behalf of others without permission;
  • we may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.

3. User content

By posting in chat, marketplace listings, events, jobs, feedback, or other content, you:

  • confirm you have the right to publish such content;
  • grant us a non-exclusive license to display and moderate content within the service;
  • agree that content may be reviewed by moderators.

Prohibited:

  • insults, threats, discrimination, spam;
  • illegal, misleading, or harmful content;
  • publishing third parties' personal data without consent;
  • attempts to bypass security or overload the service.

4. Moderation

Administrators may hide, edit, or remove content, restrict access to chat or other modules, and block accounts for community rule or legal violations.

5. Third-party data and disclaimers

Data on transport, shelters, tenders (Prozorro), weather, exchange rates, power outages, and air alerts may come from external sources. We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee completeness, precision, or uninterrupted availability. Make critical decisions (safety, medical, evacuation) based on official sources.

6. Intellectual property

Design, code, the eCity brand, and original platform materials are protected by law. Copying or commercial use without permission is prohibited unless otherwise licensed.

7. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, data loss, or outages caused by third-party providers, force majeure, or user actions.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may change, limit, or discontinue features with notice where possible.

9. Changes

Terms may be updated. Continued use after a new version is published constitutes acceptance unless the law requires otherwise.
